The Resort's restaurant is called "The Nakamal" in respect of local culture and definition of 'Meeting Place' Upon entering "The Nakamal", you are struck by the size of the main structure. Built from local timbers with an amazing criss cross of cleverly placed poles and Natangora roofing the atmosphere is tribal, earthy, rustic & rural. Overhed, within the main structure, it is a tribute to the Melanesian culture. Having survived many cyclones in it's ten years history, "The Nakamal" is a local icon and talkingpoint for all visitors. It's quite a contrast with the panoramic water-views of Port VIla Bay in the background and the tropical healty reef right in front of the resort. The absolute waterfront location makes the Nakamal a popular spot also for local resident who enjoy this beautiful location for their sunday lunch.
